Snowdrops (2-3 years)

We know that our two-year-old’s are just coming out of babyhood. Grouping our two-year old’s allows us develop activities and experiences appropriate for this crucial age group.

The environment has been designed to cater for their developmental needs. We also have similarities from the baby room to support the children with familiarity within the room. The simplicity of the layout and the large space ensure the children are appropriately stimulated and are able to move about freely. Toys and equipment can be explored on child-size tables or on the floor.

In the toddler room we use a free flow access so children can freely explore the inside and outside resources at their own leisure. This helps children independently choose their own activities and show their personal interests.

We work with our parents to potty train the children when they are ready.
