North Woolwich

Our Setting:

Based in the heart of North Woolwich, NurtureVille is exactly what it sounds like — a home away from home where children are lovingly nurtured every step of the way.

NurtureVille Nursery was first established in September 2012. Our setting has places children ranging from 3 months to 5 years. We operate between the hours of 7:30am until 6:00pm all year round.

Our nursery has three separate rooms; our babies 3 months to 2 years are in the Bluebell Room, our 2 year olds are in the Snowdrops room and our 3 and 4 year olds are in the Sunflower Room.

We’re a small and friendly nursery with a big heart! Our passionate practitioners create a cosy, caring space where each child is supported to grow, explore, and achieve in their own unique way.

We offer various session times to suit the needs of all our families, please enquire within the nursery to see what we offer.

We currently offer 15 hours funding for 2 and 3 year olds and 30 hours funding for 3 year olds providing you are eligible.

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), we tailor learning to suit every child’s individual needs, interests, and strengths — because we believe every little one deserves to shine in their own special way.

S H (Mother of Child), September 2025

"My daughter is fortunate to have Zahra as key person at NurtureVille Nursery and from the very beginning they formed an incredible bond. The progress she made in just a few months is incredible - she learned how to walk, improved balance and speech. She is able to say many words for her age and beame very independent. She truly loves Zahra and it keeps my mind at peace at work. Zahra posts a lot of activity photos on the app and makes my day better!"

MP (Mother of Child), January 2026

They say that their children are well settled and enjoy attending. Parents comment that staff keep them well informed about their children's progress and give them ideas to help continue their learning at home"

Meet The Team

Our rigorous vetting process includes a DBS check for all staff and favourable and suitable references. At NurtureVille we have hardworking, dedicated and passionate staff members.

Staff at the nursery have a minimum of a Level 2 qualification or above and all hold a valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate which is refreshed yearly and then redone every 3 years, to keep up to date.

Staff take full advantage of the training we have to offer here at NurtureVille Nursery and have all received Level 2 Safeguarding Training as well as Food Safety and Hygiene Level 3. Staff update their training regularly using our online training platform to support them. They also attend various training throughout the year and we close for 2 training days a year for inhouse training to keep our knowledge and training up to date and relevant.

We received Millie’s Mark Accreditation in 2024 which is an exceptional achievement as it shows we are going above and beyond minimum requirements in keeping children safe within childcare settings.

We support staffs’ development by encouraging them to extend their learning and achieve higher qualifications, constantly improving their knowledge and practice. We support staff in training and support them through apprenticeships here with us.
