Admissions & settling in

If you decide that Nurtureville is for you then we will provide you with a registration form which needs to be completed and returned, we will then be able to secure your child’s place when both a registration fee of £50 and a deposit of £150 have been paid. Your £150 deposit will be credited against your first month’s fees. We will then send you a confirmation letter to confirm your child’s place at Nurtureville and discuss the next steps for your child to start.

Each child is unique and has different needs when it comes to settling in at nursery, this can be dependent on their age, previous experience and their personality. The first settle will last one hour, on this settle you will stay with your child and we will complete the final pieces of paperwork and assess how many settles we think your child needs.

The aim of each settle is for you to gradually leave your child for longer periods of time so that they become use to us and the environment, each settle will get longer until you feel that they are ready start their proper sessions.

We understand that sometimes it is harder for you as parents to leave your children than it is for the child, therefore we will always provide you with photo’s each time your child is in and we are happy for you to give us a call throughout the day to find out how your child is getting on. Each child is assigned a Key Person, this person is responsible for working closely with you and meeting your child’s individual needs and helping them with their development.
